Anne Hathaway’s ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri is working on a tell-all

Anne Hathaway‘s ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri, who went to prison for fraud after they dated, is in the early stages of writing a memoir, he says in a new interview.

“In the last seven, eight years I took a lot of notes about different events in the last 15 to 20 years [of my life],” Follieri told RadarOnline. “I’m putting all the notes together and doing [the] work.”

In 2008, the Italian real estate developer was sentenced to more than four years in prison for scamming investors after falsely claiming he had ties to the Vatican and could purchase church properties at a discount. He pled guilty to 14 counts of conspiracy, money laundering and wire fraud.

He was released from a Pennsylvania prison in May 2012 and was deported back to his native Italy.

Follieri, 41, dated Hathaway, 36, from 2004 to 2008.

Hathaway married Adam Schulman in September of that year, and the actress is currently expecting the couple’s second child.

Follieri said he wishes Hathaway “the best” with her pregnancy, and spoke about moving on with a woman named Konstantina Koumouri. They have a 2-year-old son, Pasquale Leone Nicolas.

Koumouri is American, and Follieri has been fighting for years to return to the US.

“I’m not pretending that I am some kind of saint. Because I am not a saint,” he told Radar. “I‘m sure I did a lot of mistakes, but I think I paid greatly for my mistakes. I think everybody should have a second chance.”

A source told The Post back in 2013 that Follieri “misses America, and when he gets enough money he wants to lobby for a presidential pardon,” meaning book sales could help with those funds.

Follieri said he has been approached about creating a movie on his life, but wants to focus on the memoir first.

“If I decide to move forward with the book, for sure I know the public is looking for a more detailed story,” he told Radar. “And I will save the details for the book.”

A rep for Hathaway did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
