The Big Bang Theory: ‘I’m going to faint?’ Star spills all on meeting the Queen
The Big Bang Theory followed the main group on their journey through life as a group of science nerds who tackled everything from their love life to meeting Steven Hawkins. However, Steven Hawkins isn’t the only famous face Raj Koothrappali star Kunal Nayyar met, as he has since opened up about meeting Queen Elizabeth II.
Kunal met the Queen back in 2017, and unsurprisingly, meeting the monarch left him rather nervous.
The actor was invited to Buckingham Palace with his wife a couple of years ago in order to celebrate the start of the UK-India Year of Culture.
Speaking on the Ellen DeGeneres show, he said: “We went to London to meet the Queen, and I was playing it off as ‘whatever,’ but I was actually very nervous inside,”
“As soon as she enters, I begin to have the worst panic attack of my life.

“I start thinking: ‘Oh, there’s the Queen. I’m going to faint. Why am I going to faint? I’ve never fainted in my life.’”
His character is known for his awkward interactions, being unable to speak to women unless intoxicated.
However, it seems the actor himself had a little difficultly in expressing his words in front of her majesty.
The star was left a little red faced after stumbling across his first word to the monarch.
Despite the meeting lasting for a matter of seconds, the star admitted the interaction was rather embarrassing.
He accidentally told the Queen: “Nice to see you again.” as though they had met before.
It seems the star isn’t too unlike his character after all.
Meanwhile, the real reason the series ended has finally been revealed.

After all, Leonard’s awkward encounters with Penny Hofstadter (Kaley Cuoco) had been an ongoing theme since the pilot episode of the CBS sitcom.
By this point Howard Wolfowitz (Simon Helberg) had already settled down with Bernadette (Melissa Rauch).
Things were also getting more serious between Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) and Amy Farrah Fowler (Mayim Bialik).
