Priyanka Chopra steals spotlight in curve-hugging gown after Nick Jonas anniversary
Priyanka Chopra, 37, stepped out in style last night to attend the UNICEF Snowflake Ball in New York City.
The movie star looked incredible when she posed for pictures at the annual black tie event in a stunning scarlet gown.
The actress attended the bash with her mother Madhu Chopra, two days after celebrating her first wedding anniversary with husband Nick Jonas, 27.
Last night, Priyanka stole the show in a floor-length asymmetrical number which clung to her curves and highlighted her fabulous physique.
Her figure-hugging red dress featured a high neckline and a sleeve on one side, as well as a dramatic train which pooled on the floor when posed for photographers.
The brunette beauty wore her dark tresses in a sleek low ponytail and enhance her natural good looks with flick of black eyeliner and a slick of red lipstick which complimented her outfit.
She introduced a hint of sparkle to her ensemble with a glitzy pair of chandelier earrings and finished off her glam gown with a pair of nude pumps and gold clutch bag.
During the event, which took place at Cipriani Wall Street, Goodwill Ambassador Priyanka took to the stage to accept an award.
The philanthropist, who has worked with UNICEF since 2006, was honoured with the Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award for her work with the organisation.
The award is named after the American actor – star of classic films such as White Christmas and Hans Christian Andersen – who was UNICEF’s first Goodwill Ambassador to the world’s children in 1954.
On hearing of the accolade back in June, Priyanka told her 46.9 million Instagram followers she was “incredibly humbled” by the honour.
She wrote: “So incredibly humbled. Thank you @unicefusa for honouring me with the Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award at the UNICEF Snowflake Ball in December! My work with @unicef on behalf of all the world’s children means everything to me… Here’s to peace freedom and the right to education… #ForEveryChild”

Priyanka Chopra admits Nick Jonas wedding was ‘extravagant’
At the weekend, Priyanka celebrated her first wedding anniversary with her husband Nick, of the Jonas Brothers.
The couple, who tied the knot on December 1, 2018 at the magnificent Umaid Bhawan Palace in India, shared sweet messages to each other on Instagram to mark their special day.
Sharing pictures from her wedding day, the actress wrote: “My promise. Then..today.. forever. You bring me joy, grace, balance, excitement, passion.. all in the same moment…thank you for finding me..Happy First wedding anniversary Husband.. @nickjonas. And Thank you to everyone for the love and good wishes. We feel blessed.”
On his own Instagram account, in view of his 27.9 million followers, Nick wrote: “One year ago today we said forever… well forever isn’t nearly long enough. I love you with all of my heart @priyankachopra happy anniversary.”
