She wrote: ‘I would like to say I’m very sorry to everyone I upset and afected with my stupid drunken behaviour.
‘I will be contacting the police myself about this and going to speak to them.
‘I get that everyone is angry and upset with me over this I will be putting baubles on the tree and donating money to the cafe that the children made them in.
‘I’m very sorry to everyone affected. I will do whatever it takes to put this right.
‘I know it will take a lot of time but I really hope I can be forgiven for my vile behaviour.’
Police said they have dealt with the matter by way of a ‘community resolution’, which requires Ms Rolfe to make a financial donation and a written apology.
Her father Peter, now 69, hit headlines four years ago when he revealed he had fathered 26 children by 15 different women and wanted a bigger house despite already claiming benefits.
The children were conceived as a result of a string of casual conquests with different women while he worked as a bouncer in London.
Ms Rolfe apologised to friends for her ‘drunken’ behaviour on Facebook after being called out by locals
He said he could have his ‘pick of the women’ and claimed he had a ‘different one every night’.
Former Conservative MP Ann Widdecombe called him ‘Britain’s most feckless father’ and claimed he did not deserve a tent, let alone the council house he was given.
Locals on the Isle of Wight were outraged at his daughter’s behaviour.
The decorations she stole and damaged were made by Year One pupils at Greenmount Primary School and kids who visit the town’s Youth Cafe.
Ms Rolfe’s husband Danny Tiller was one of the first to express his outrage.
He commented on the video on Facebook: ‘My darling estranged wife Leeanne Rolfe. Absolute cretinous b****. I’m ashamed to call her my kids’ mum.’
A mock-up of Ms Rolfe as The Grinch was shared online with the words: ‘How the Rolfe stole Christmas.’
Laura Lawson commented: ‘What a scumbag,’ while June Keys wrote: ‘What a selfish cow.’
Paddy Mchugh added: ‘Hope they have to go and do some sort of community service.’
A spokesman for the Isle of Wight wrote in response to Ms Rolfe’s admission yesterday: ‘I can confirm a 23-year-old woman from Chale, Isle of Wight, and a 30-year-old woman from Ryde, Isle of Wight, have been dealt with by way of a community resolution.’
Isle of Wight Police also tweeted a letter of apology.
Its post read: ‘We can confirm that the incident involving the @NetworkRyde & @RydeTownCouncil Christmas tree which was damaged at the beginning of the week has now been resolved.
‘Here is a letter of apology from one of the individuals. They have already been named on social media and have now been officially dealt with by way of community resolution.
‘They have conditions to write letters of apology and make a financial donation to @NetworkRyde.
‘Further to this, We have been made aware of various threats being made which now need to stop.’
A Ryde Town Council spokesman added: ‘The Town Council is very grateful to the young people from Greenmount and Network Ryde for all the care and effort they put into making the decorations.
‘It is such a disappointment that their hard work was disrespected by such a mindless act.’
A second woman was also caught for her involvement.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman previously said: At 7.13am on Tuesday police received a report of an incident which is reported to have taken place on the evening of December 1.
‘Christmas decorations were removed from a tree in St Thomas’ Square, Ryde.
‘Some of the decorations were stolen and some were damaged.’
