Bride-to-be CRIED when her fiance proposed with the ‘ugliest engagement ring’ that looks like a weird mask

A BRIDE-TO-BE has revealed how she broke down in tears when her fiance popped the question with the “ugliest engagement ring”. 

The woman from Italy shared a photo of the ring to a shaming group on Facebook, and people have compared it to looking like a prop from Phantom of the Opera or Iron Man. 

The woman admitted she “cried a lot” when she received the ring, which has a silver mask and pouty lips on a thick gold band. 

Instead of comforting the woman, many social media users responded by mocking the unusual jewellery piece. 

Some even went as far as to slam it for being the “worst ring they'd seen in a long time.”

One critical comment said: “Is this some sort of optical illusion? I tried turning the phone a few different angles, but it's still hideous.”

Another added: “I would cry too, this is awful.”

Despite the woman being unsure on the design, she said she had worn the ring since the proposal and hinted she had said yes to her partner.

Not everyone was in support, however, with one saying: “You didn't say no? That is a ring to say no to.”

And one slammed: “I'd cry if someone tried to give me that! Hideous!”

Some people were also quick to compare it to Phantom of the Opera or a prop from Marvel. 

One wrote: “Are you marrying the Phantom of the Opera?”

Another added: “Oh this is that new Marvel line of jewellery. This is the Iron Man band.”
