Man Utd target Mandzukic exiled from lavish Juventus Christmas bash as January transfer window exit looms for striker – The Sun

MARIO MANDZUKIC was exiled from Juventus' lavish Christmas party as the Croatian took another huge step towards a January exit.

The Manchester United target, 33, wasn't even invited to the glitzy bash after being forced to train alone as he prepares to quit the club.

Mandzukic hasn't played a single second of first-team football under Maurizio Sarri after plummeting down the pecking order.

On Wednesday night, Juventus' star-studded squad threw on their club suits to enjoy the Christmas do.

But Mandzukic was forced to stay at home, as the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Aaron Ramsey and Matthijs De Ligt partied the night away.

Incredibly, the Croatian wasn't allowed to attend despite 600 other guests being invited by chairman Andrea Agnelli.

Both Juventus' men's and women's teams were invited, with the likes of Ronaldo and Gianluigi Buffon posing with Cecilia Salvai and Sofie Junge Pedersen.

Leonardo Bonucci was snapped signing a huge bottle of champagne – already scribbled on by a host of team-mates – with a gold pen.

Mandzukic was heavily linked with a summer move to United, but a move never materialised.
