Love Island’s Ollie Williams ‘tried to sell stuffed buffalo head on eBay for £8,000’ but denies being a trophy hunter
Ollie Williams attempted to sell a stuffed buffalo head on eBay for £8,000, according to reports.
The reports come after 23 year old Ollie, who sensationally quit Love Island earlier this week, denied being a trophy hunter.
It is believed Ollie bought the taxidermy at an auction for just £648.70 but was listed on the online auction site for £8,000.
The item was discovered by The Sun Online on Thursday night, with a source telling the publication: "Ollie had gone to Holts auctioneers in Norfolk in June and spotted this cape buffalo shoulder mount.

"He thought it would be an investment and hoped he'd be able to sell it and make a profit but nobody ever bought it."
The publication claims the item was pulled from the selling site after they contacted the star's representatives.
Other items for sale by the user believed to be the land owner include a palaeontology textbook for £20, an introduction book on global geophysics for £30 and a glass TV stand for £49.
OK! online has contacted a representative for Love Island for comment on this story as it is unclear if the user is Ollie.
Ollie hit out at claims he is a trophy hunter on Thursday as he broke his silence after quitting the show, claiming he is still in love with his ex girlfriend.
He said in a statement: "Having left the Love Island house I have become aware of the press stories circulating in the UK. I would like to make a number of comments on the various claims and accusations.
"I had no knowledge of the stories until I had left the Love Island villa and all cast members are unaware of any news stories while they are on the programme.
"My reasons for leaving Love Island are as communicated on the show. I did not shoot any of the animals shown in the photographs nor have I ever shot as a trophy hunter.
"I did volunteer to take part in the conservation and anti-poaching programme in Mozambique, a part off which involves old or sick animals being culled. I was there as an observer."

Discussing his company, which promised to provide "an unforgettable sporting experience people from all over the world will cherish forever," he added: "The Cornish Sporting Agency was set up in 2017 and has never traded.
"I feel very passionately about conservation and will continue to support sustainable conservation causes around the globe.
"These benefit the natural world and the animals which live within it, even if certain elements appear controversial when viewed out of context.
"As I am no longer in Love Island, I will comment no further on this issue."
