Brad Pitt made ‘phallic’ gesture to Jennifer Aniston, says body language expert
A body language expert believe Brad Pitt was making a 'phallic' gesture to Jennifer Aniston at the SAG Awards.
The former couple, who divorced in 2005, have sparked rumours of a reunion after they were pictured kissing and holding hands at the Los Angeles ceremony.
And Jennifer couldn't hide her emotions when Brad seemingly made a dig at ex-wife Angelina Jolie , who he went on to marry after splitting with the Friends star.
Speaking on today's This Morning, body language expert Mike Carter claimed there was a strong sexual attraction from both sides.
Mike claimed that Brad was holding his award in a "phallic way" by holding it down low and pointing the head towards Jennifer.
"Nothing saggy about his SAG," joked Mike, prompting giggles from This Morning hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willloughby.
Making a saucy gag, Phil replied: "I'm just going to pop over and get the NTA."
The presenters struggled to contain their laughter as the show went int an advertisement break.
The body language expert also commented on Brad gripping Jen's wrist – insisting it meant he didn't want her to leave him.
Brad was also filmed gazing at the screen watching Jennifer's acceptance speech.
Mike explained: "When you're speaking you man make eye contact all the time. When you're listening and you show genuine interest you make eye contact all the time.
"It's a screen. He's not getting any response but he's bang on it."
This Morning's Hollywood correspondent, Sam Rubin, saw Brad intensely watching Jennifer's acceptance speech backstage.
Sam said that Brad ditched the press pack and watched the entire speech alone and could not be distracted.
Speaking from LA, Sam said: "As he walks away from the monitor he does wipe a tear from his eye.
"I can't emphasis enough the intensity in which he watched the whole thing.
"The juxtaposition, he's watching her remarks when he could have been talking about himself and his awards which is what almost anybody else would do.
"He’s selflessly acting. He couldn’t be anymore into it."
Brad won outstanding performance by a male actor in a supporting role for his part in Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood and used his acceptance speech to joke about his failed marriage.
He said: "He said of his stunt man role: "It was a difficult part, a guy who takes his shirt off, gets high and doesn't get on with his wife. It was a big stretch, big."
Jen was sitting in the audience watching, and she was seen laughing and clapping as Brad seemingly made the dig at Angelina.
