Gemma Collins pulls out of China trip over coronavirus fears
Gemma Collins has been forced to cancel a planned trip to China over coronavirus fears.
The deadly virus, which has no cure or vaccine, first broke out in the Chinese city of Wuhan in January, and has since spread throughout the world.
And now the GC is so worried about catching it that she's taking precautions to prevent infection.
"I was supposed to be going to China this month, but, with the coronavirus, I don’t wanna risk it," she told the Guardian .
Sanguinely, she added: "Then again, when it's your time, it's your time."
The 39-year-old TOWIE star also spoke about her devastation over Caroline Flack's suicide, arguing it should be time to consider pulling Love Island off the air.
It's time for "a rethink" about the ITV2 show, she said, adding: "Or maybe they should pull it off air. They've had three people pass – it's got a taint over it."
Gemma's coronavirus fears come after both Nick Robinson and Jon Snow decided to self-isolate after returning from trips abroad.
BBC Radio 4 presenter Nick had to be tested for the infectious disease after flying back from Vietnam and Cambodia, which have both reported multiple outbreaks.
Meanwhile, Channel 4 News broadcaster Jon went into self-quarantine after returning from Iran, which has seen the biggest number of cases outside of mainland China.
