Emmerdale boss Jane Hudson has spoken out on show’s ‘exciting’ return to filming.
The ITV serial drama has returned to filming, and members of the cast are back on set — recording six special episodes set during in lockdown — which means that the series will stay on air beyond the already completed episodes.
Filming got underway yesterday at Emmerdale’s studios in Leeds and safety protocols and social distancing measures will be strictly adhered to by the team on set. The six episodes in question will be recorded over a two-week period.
‘Everyone feels great to be back, and we can’t wait to make some new episodes for you.’
Emmerdale continues Friday 22 May at 7pm on ITV.
