Sarah Platt (played by Tina O’Brien) was given a strict ultimatum by Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson); either report Gary Windass (Mikey North) to the police or end their marriage. The mum-of-two wanted to make things work with Adam but refused to expose Gary’s secret and so the solicitor walked out on her. However, as she attempts to rebuild her life, will she realise she has to abandon her home on Coronation Street for the sake of her son Harry?

Speaking to Express.co.uk, Tina revealed Sarah regrets seeking out the truth about Rick Neelan’s (Greg Wood) death.

“I think she wishes she’d never known any of it. I think she wishes she’d never even gone looking for [answers],” the ITV actress declared.

“When she saw that watch, she almost wishes she hadn’t followed that path because I think she regrets knowing in a way.

“She was quite happy living her life in her marriage with her son, bringing up Harry.”

“And this has thrown a grenade in and really messed everything up for her,” Tina added.

Could Tina be dropping a huge clue about the future of Sarah and Harry on Coronation Street?

In recent scenes, Adam left Sarah when she refused to tell the police what she knows about Gary’s deadly secret.

Sarah had grown suspicious of her ex-boyfriend when she was given a watch with Rick’s name on that had been found in the woods.

The mum-of-two confronted Gary but was horrified when he broke down and confessed he’d killed Rick for her.

Earlier this year, Sarah’s eldest daughter Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) left the cobbles and perhaps the businesswoman could be close behind.

If Sarah feels Harry’s happiness could be compromised on the street she may decide it’s best to leave.

Her relationship to Gary broke down last year and now her short-lived marriage to Adam appears to be over.

Will Sarah realise the best thing she can do for her son is to leave the cobbles behind for a fresh start?

Meanwhile, Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) and Gary may not return to the street together from their honeymoon.

Gary surprised his new wife with a trip away but Maria remains in the dark over his murderous past.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, Samia revealed the hairdresser would be “furious” if she discovered the truth.

Samia said: “She’d obviously be furious, she’d be devastated that she’s married to a murderer.

“And especially after what happened to her first husband Liam, he was murdered.”

“I think she’d run a mile. If she actually found out the truth,” she added.

Could Gary break down and reveal all to Maria resulting in her dumping him and deciding against returning home?

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV at 7.30pm.
