With TOWIE back on our screens and all our favourite stars flaunting their assets, we couldn’t help but wonder what they get up to when the cameras are off.

And it turns out that Pete Wicks’ old day job involved working with the NHS.

The 31-year-old reality star joined the cast of TOWIE way back in 2015 as a friend of James Lock. Since then he’s been a focal point of some of the ITVBe shows juiciest storylines.

This includes his turbulent relationship with co-star Megan McKenna. The couple dated for a year and a half before calling time on their on-off romance in 2017.

But it’s not only Pete’s love life that’s been turned on its head by the much-loved reality show.

In an interview with Attitude Magazine, Pete revealed how his job before the show, albeit successful, was a far cry from the glitz and glamour of the TOWIE lifestyle.

What does TOWIE star Pete Wicks do for a living?

In an interview with Attitude Magazine back in 2017, the long-haired “Essex Pirate” revealed that TOWIE “turned [his] life upside down.”

“Before the show I worked in the city for nearly 11 years," he explained.

“I had a fairly good job,” he continued. “I was a director of a company for many years.”

“We supplied consultant doctors to the NHS. It was a complete contrast to what I'm doing now."

These days the dog lover is reported to boast a successful property portfolio and has a string of growing businesses to his name.

Since joining the show, the heavily tattooed, blue-eyed hunk has also managed to bag himself a fair few modelling gigs and carve out a career in that sector as well.

Who is Pete Wicks dating?

Since joining the cast of TOWIE, Pete has had a pretty tumultuous dating life.

Before his rocky relationship with Megan McKenna he was dating Ex On The Beach star Harriette Harper.

It’s also been reported that he had flings with Verity Chapman, Charlotte Crosby and even Love Island winner Amber Davies.

In 2018, Pete sparked a flame with fellow TOWIE star Shelby Tribble, but this relationship also ended in tears after Shelby dumped him – claiming she felt like a “rebound” after his bitter breakup with Megan.

But reports confirm the reality star is no longer single after he was seen locking lips with his potential new girlfriend, model Madison Sarah.

The pair aren’t official yet, but it certainly seems Pete is no stranger to the 22-year-old YouTuber and social media influencer.
