Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost wed in 'intimate ceremony'

Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost are married after three years of dating.

The couple made the happy announcement via Meals On Wheels America, which works to fight against hunger and isolation among the elderly.

A statement on Instagram read: ‘We’re thrilled to break the news that Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost were married over the weekend in an intimate ceremony with their immediate family and love ones, following COVID-19 safety precautions as directed by the CDC.

The Avengers actress – who will be starring in the upcoming Black Widow movie – began dating the comedian in the summer of 2017 before going public in September the same year. Colin popped the question in May 2019.

Scarlett, 35, was previously married to Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2011 and Romain Dauriac from 2014 to 2017. She and Romain share daughter Rose.

Colin, who fronts Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update, dated Parks & Recreation star Rashida Jones for three years until 2016.

He previously said he was worried about simply being known as ‘Scarlett Johansson’s boyfriend’.

The 38-year-old told SiriusXM: ‘The lucky thing was that people in the cast really liked her when she was there as a host. It wasn’t like I was dating someone who was like a monster.’

‘I worried about my identity with it and also with comedy. I was always worried about anything that felt non-comedy, or took me out of a world of comedy.’

Explaining a time when he turned down his girlfriend’s Oscar promo events to attend the ceremony for Dave Chappelle being given the Mark Twain Prize for American Humour, he added: ‘You have to keep your own identity and do your own thing.’

Scarlett is fiercely private about her personal life, but did say last year that their relationship is ‘happy and fulfilling’.

‘I’m just in a good, creative phase and I’m in a very happy, fulfilling relationship,’ she told Extra at Elle’s Women In Hollywood event in Beverly Hills on Monday.

She added: ‘And I have a beautiful, very healthy, and inspiring daughter, and things are great.’
