Amanda Holden 'loves' that people are still talking about her boobs at 50
Amanda Holden may be approaching 50, but the Britain’s Got Talent judge is still making headlines for her assets – and she loves it!
The 48-year-old TV presenter is no stranger to going viral after racking up a number of OfCom complaints for her accidental swear word on BGT – and more recently for her show-stopping revealing dress on the semi-finals of the talent show.
Amanda’s choice of dress on the hit variety program two years ago also struck a chord with 663 outraged viewers, who wrote to the TV regulator about her plunging Julian Macdonald dress.
But complaints are the new form of flattery for the mother-of-two who loves the fact that her boobs are still a hot topic of conversation.
Speaking to the Mail Online, she said: ‘I love it that people are still talking about my tired old breasts and I’m nearly 50!
‘No one talks about [BGT co-host] Alesha Dixon’s – she’s got great boobs, by the way – and she’s eight years younger than me.’
For the third semi finals of BGT, Amanda wore a daring Nicholas Jebran dress with a nude embroidered lace detail on one side, which garnered mixed reviews from viewers online.
One fan wrote: ‘Amanda is looking stunning tonight! Love that dress!’
Another added: ‘#BGT yo wtf is up with Amanda’s dress practically got her tit out.’
While one viewer suggested: ‘How much nicer would Amanda’s dress look if it was all white though? #BGT’
But while fans at home were divided over Amanda’s choice of gown, one person who certainly wasn’t complaining was her husband, Chris Hughes.
Addressing the haters ahead of the finals on Sunday, the TV host said: ‘My t**s seem to become the show’s biggest talking point every year.
‘We’ve had plenty of complaints apparently, but none from home, let me tell you.’
But while the spider-webbed detailed dress, which saw the TV star having to wear a nipple cover to hide her modesty, was well received at home; Amanda admitted to The Sun that she would ‘happily put it on EBay.’
Amanda also opened up about the death of her beloved grandmother Ethel, who died at the age of 97, and how her grandmother’s strength is a characteristic that all women in her family share.
Together, their life mantra is: ‘Speak up, speak out and be strong.’
She said: ‘She was my biggest inspiration.
‘She went to hell and back, but she’s carried on like nothing happened’
