B&M is selling £20 light-up Christmas trees for just £1 in flash sale – but you need to be quick – The Sun

IT might still be November but after a whirlwind of a year, many Brits couldn't wait to get their Christmas decorations up.

With that in mind, savvy shoppers have been scouring the shelves for extra lights, tinsel and baubles to add to their collections.

When an eagle-eyed shopper caught sight of adorable festive light-up trees in B&M for £1, she couldn't wait to show off her cut-price purchase online.

The item in question was the Light Styles LED Rose Tree, which features 72 bulbs surrounded by little ornamental roses.

Though the light-up tree isn't strictly Christmas themed, it wouldn't look out of place among your festive decorations.

It's usually priced at £19.99 – but the savvy shopper was able to pick it up for £1 by using B&M's scanner app.

Writing on the Facebook group B&M Bargains and More, the happy customer said: "These trees are now £1. This was inverness store."

This is how the scanner app works: B&M will sometimes reduce stock in their system before staff have a chance to label it, so shoppers are able to pick up products reduced to as little as 10p by scanning the barcode and bringing it to the till.

Hoards of people rushed to the post to rave about how keen they were to go out and snap one of the trees up themselves.

Hundreds have liked or commented on the post, tagging friends to  let them know.

One wrote: "Need to run to b&m."

A second said: "Why do i never get a bargin lol…that is so cool."

A third chimed in: "That’s really cute. I want one."
