I’m A Celebrity viewers concerned as they notice AJ Pritchard’s injured finger

I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! fans rushed to Twitter on Sunday evening after spotting AJ Pritchard with a sore-looking finger.

The 26-year-old was sporting a thick white bandage on his left index finger – but viewers had no idea why.

As the female campmates returned from their messy Bushtucker Trial, AJ was a true gentleman and offered to help take their smelly clothes away in bags – despite his injured hand.

Desperate to know what had caused the accident, fans rushed to Twitter to air their concerns.

"What happened to AJ’s finger please baby?" one person asked, while a second added: "Did y’all see AJ’s finger? Is he ok?"

A third viewer posted: "What has AJ done to his finger Ant and Dec?"

And a fourth person joked: "How did AJ manage to hurt his finger? Putting the curl cream in his hair?"

But injury aside, viewers were delighted that AJ appeared to have been given more air time during Sunday night's episode of the show and were keen to see him take part in the next trial.

At the end of the show, hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly entered the castle to inform the celebs who would be partaking in Monday night's task entitled Harm-ory.

AJ will be doing the Bushtucker Trial alongside former EastEnders actress Jessica Plummer, 28.

But some viewers didn't think Jessica would be much help – after she took part in the group trial on Sunday night.

"Oh Christ, may as well just get AJ doing the trial on his own then for the help Jessica will be. Brace yourselves for rice and beans later campmates," someone tweeted.

Earlier in the episode, AJ was forced to quickly adjust himself when he got out of bed wearing just his boxer shorts.

He'd worked up a sweat in the night after tucking into a massive feast, and joked he "almost popped out" of his pants.
