Modernica and Hysteric Glamour Join Forces for a Pattern-Covered Furniture and Apparel Collection
Widely revered for its premium quality midcentury-modern home pieces, Modernica is concluding the year with a furniture and apparel collection made in partnership with Hysteric Glamour. This two-way project marks the first time that Hysteric Glamour has joined forces on apparel with a US imprint since they linked up with Supreme back in 2017.
Signature silhouettes from Modernica such as its ever-popular Side Shell chairs, a daybed, and the Aiko side table are pushed to the frontlines, all of which wear the Japanese clothing brand’s iconic all-over prints. The chairs will come in three distinct colorways including a white, orange and yellow, while the sofa applies grey backgrounds with white/black graphics and the table displays white backdrops and black patterns.
Moving over to the wearable items, the two parties have lined up a handful of silhouettes including satin jackets, tees, hoodies, bowling shirts and crewneck sweaters. Each of these is styled with co-branded hits that blend together Modernica’s moniker with HG’s oft-used girl graphic.
If any of the items pique your interest, you can expect them to launch at 6pm PST via the Hysteric Glamour web store and select Hysteric retail stores on December 18.
