Love Island’s Marcel Somerville, Jake Quickenden and Charlotte Dawson sign up for MTV’s Celebrity Bumps: Famous & Pregnant

They’re no strangers to reality TV, but now the likes of Love Island star Marcel Somerville, former Dancing on Ice champ Jake Quickenden and Ex on the Beach’s Charlotte Dawson are set to star in a brand new series.
The trio have been revealed as part of the line-up for MTV’s Celebrity Bumps: Famous & Pregnant – a fly-on-the-wall series that shows their parenthood journey with their other halves.
Marcel will star alongside his influencer girlfriend Rebecca Vieira and newborn Roman, while Charlotte will appear with her fiancé Matt Sarsfield and their adorable son Noah.

Meanwhile, Jake, who rose to fame on X Factor has signed up with his girlfriend Sophie Church.
Joining them will be former Big Brother winner Kate Lawler, her fiancé Boj and their baby girl Noa, plus ex The Only Way is Essex cast members Shelby Tribble and Sam Mucklow and their son Abel, as well as former Olympian Perri-Shakes-Drayton and Big Brother Nigeria’s Mike Edwards.
The nine part show will follow all six celebrity couples as they prepare to welcome their new arrivals into the world and become mum and dad together.

Along the way, MTV viewers will see their countless ups and downs as they count down the days.
That’s everything from emotional scans to big baby showers, and finally the magical moment when they arrive home as new parents with their little bundle of joy.
And the cameras will be there to capture all the action on the leadup to their milestone as each couple takes part in interviews and records video diaries.

Teasing what’s to come when the show kicks off on Wednesday 3rd March, the show promises to follow in the footsteps of other popular MTV programmes.
It says: “With the phenomenal success of Teen Mom and 16 and Pregnant, MTV has brought its audiences incredible stories of birth and motherhood.”
“This series follows an inspirational cast of celebs at their most intimate – as we follow them from bump, to birth and beyond!”
Jake Quickenden has previously opened up about becoming a dad for the first time, revealing he can’t wait for his brand new chapter.
In a touching social media post, he wrote: "Feel like this is going to be the making of me, I will never fully grow up (I'm Peter Pan) I love life too much and messing about, but being a dad will definitely change me for the better, I already feel different."
He continued: "Watching the little bean grow inside Sophie is amazing and watching how she handles herself is also amazing. You are doing so well sophie_church, still not sure about changing nappies but I'm sure I'll come round to it!!"
