Line of Duty fans say Marcus Thurwell and Steph Corbett have secret link

Line of Duty fans reckon they may have rumbled a secret link between Marcus Thurwell and Steph Corbett.

The dramatic series reaches its climax on Sunday in what is certain to be a show-stopping finale.

We're all waiting on tenterhooks to discover the identity of H – and get a whole load of questions answered.

Viewers have spotted a mind-blowing clue that they believe suggests crook Thurwell is not dead at all.

Sunday night’s episode of the hit BBC police drama suggested the character was found dead at his villa in Spain, following an AC-12 operation with Spanish cops.

Now they have reckon they've spotted a link with Steph and once you hear it, it's hard to remove from your mind.

They believe there is a connection between Thurwell and the suspicious woman, played by Irish actress Amy De Bhrún.

Some are convinced he has been staying with her after a number of very questionable appearances.

Sketchy Steph, viewers have claimed, has a huge part to playing in the final episode as Superintendent Ted Hasting and his team hunt down answers.

One simply tweeted: "Marcus Thurwell and Steph."

Another eagle-eyed viewer wrote: "There are far too many loose ends with her, she has a part to play in the finale."

Then another fan chipped in: "Maybe her house is bugged."

Hastings and his team watched armed officers raid Thurwell’s property through live bodycam footage, before the bodies of Thurwell and a female were found.

Some believe he could have staged his own death to evade justice.

Thurwell, played by James Nesbitt, has only been seen in photographs as Steve Arnott and Chloe Bishop worked out his links to organised crime.

The BBC have dropped a preview clip to the final – and it's going to be huge.

We are left wondering if Gail Vella's murder will be exposed as Ted's voice can be heard booming over his officers.

"All these suspicious deaths were orchestrated by one officer in particular," he says.

"H," Ted continues. "The fourth man."
