ROYAL ASCOT punters have been dealt a huge blow after one of Frankie Dettori's big rides was withdrawn on day two.
Lord North was due to take on Love in the star-studded Prince of Wales' Stakes at 4.20pm.
But connections have decided to withdraw the Group 1 winner due to the ground.

Joint-trainer John Gosden said: "The ground will be too quick for Lord North and unfortunately, he's a non-runner in the Prince of Wales' Stakes."
That means Love's odds have shortened to 5-6, with second favourite Armory 5-2.
Punters were hoping to pour money onto Dettori's rides after he started Royal Ascot with a bang yesterday.
The iconic 50-year-old jockey absolutely hosed up on Palace Pier in the Queen Anne Stakes.
Dettori said afterwards: "There wasn't much pace in the race and I had him much further forward than usual.
"I stalked the pace, I had the leaders beat with a furlong and a half to go and then he went a couple of lengths clear and he took it easy with me.
"It was his first time on real good to firm ground, so he wasn't so sure on it – but still, he proved again he's the best miler around. He was in front on his own for a while, so he was taking things easy.
"He did (stumble just after the line). He's quite clumsy with his feet – he's forever losing his shoes and things like that, but when he goes fast he's all right.
"It's a pressure ride, the first one (of the meeting) – you want everything to go right, and it did."
