A DJ has claimed that she was flashed by killer Wayne Couzens in 2008 and that police ‘laughed in her face’ when she reported it.
Magic FM DJ Emma Wilson, known on the radio as Emma B, has waived her right to anonymity and said that the former police officer exposed himself to her 13 years before he killed Sarah Everard.
In an interview with The Telegraph, she said: ‘I really wouldn’t say anything out loud if I wasn’t very sure, because it’s important and it’s serious, but as soon as I saw the pictures of him, I said “That’s him”.’
Describing the ‘horrific’ incident, Mrs Wilson said she was walking in Greenwich with her baby son in a pram after dropping her five-year-old daughter off at school when a man shouted ‘hey’ at her.
When she turned around, she saw a man she claims was Couzens with his trousers down, exposing himself, which left her feeling ‘panicked’.
Between December 2006 and September 2010, Couzens was working as a Special Constable for Kent Police.
The DJ ran to a nearby shop and called 999 and it was during her recounting of the incident to police that she was met with laughter from officers, she says.

The newspaper reports that is why she has chosen to speak out.
She said: ‘They laughed when I was describing the graphic bits and what he was doing, they thought that bit was particularly funny.
‘The reason why I’m saying something is because now a girl is dead. I have a daughter who’s at university.
‘As a mother, I’m thinking if somebody didn’t say something, and that resulted in my daughter’s death, I wouldn’t be able to live with that.’
The Metropolitan Police are now investigating the incident, according to the Telegraph.
It comes days after it was claimed former Met officer Couzens, 48, allegedly molested a drag artist while he was in costume at the New Inn pub in Deal, Kent, in 2018, before propositioning him to have sex.

The performer claimed that Couzens told him that he was a police officer when he told the father-of-two to stop touching him, the Mirror reported.
A slew of claims have come to light about the Metropolitan Police officer since he was jailed for life with no chance of parole after he kidnapped, raped and murdered Sarah Everard while she was walking home.
Couzens is known to have committed an indecent exposure, driving round naked from the waist down in his car, when he served with them in 2015.
He has also been identified as being responsible for carrying out the same offence at a McDonald’s restaurant days before he targeted Ms Everard, 33, while she walked home from her friend’s house in Clapham, south London.
On March 3, he staged a fake Covid arrest, handcuffed Ms Everard and put her in his car before driving 80 miles to Kent where he raped and murdered her. Days later, he burned her body and left it in woods near land he owned.
He has since been handed a whole life sentence after admitting the kidnapping, rape and murder of the 33-year-old marketing executive.

Priti Patel has announced there will be an independent inquiry into the ‘systematic failures’ that allowed Wayne Couzens to serve as a Met police officer and murder Sarah Everard.
The Home Secretary said that ‘recent tragic events have exposed unimaginable failures in policing’.
A Met Police spokesperson said: ‘On Friday, 8 October, the Met received a complaint concerning an investigation into an alleged incident of indecent exposure that occurred in Greenwich in November 2008.
‘The complaint is being assessed by officers from the Directorate of Professional Standards.’
In light of Ms Everard’s murder, all sexual and domestic abuse allegations against Metropolitan Police officers over the last ten years will also be reviewed.
Dame Cressida Dick, commissioner for the force, announced on Friday that an investigation is being launched into all current cases of sexual misconduct or domestic abuse allegations against London’s police officers.
Dame Cressida, 60, also revealed similar allegations that have been made against both officers and workers at the force over the last ten years will be reviewed.
Officers from the force’s Directorate of Professional Standards will analyse each of the cases internally and will undertake a check of the vetting history of the staff involved in the claims.
