Famous homes YOU can rent on Airbnb – from glam Sex and the City pad to Spice World movie bus and Harry Potter's house

WE always dream about the opportunity to glimpse behind the scenes on some of our favourite shows and films – however, it's not always as hard as you'd think.

Just last week an exact recreation of Carrie Bradshaw's iconic Sex and the Cityhome was put up for rent on Airbnb, allowing fans of the New York-based show to have a taste of Sarah Jessica Parker's character's glam on-screen life.

Here, we take a look at some of the other properties that have appeared on our screens where you can now stay…

Avengers Assemble

Home to Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Junior, and his family in Avengers: Endgame, this lakeside cabin on a 2,000 acre equestrian estate will set you back just under £600 a night.

The four-bed, three-bath property also boasts lake access, and is perfect for guests who, like Iron Man himself, has a preference for action-packed getaways.

The Airbnb advert reads: "Want to come take the kids fishing and watch a horse show? Want to explore some iconic movie sets? Then this is your place."

A whole host of stars from the superhero movie filmed scenes there, including Mark Ruffalo, Tom Holland, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth, so it's a must-stay for Iron Man film fanatics.

Magical holiday

For just under £200 a night Harry Potter fans can experience a little bit of the film series' magic – at five star bed and breakfast De Vere House, worth £1million.

The property is known as Potter Cottage in the Harry Potter films, and is actually the lead character's birth place – where his parents were violently murdered by he-who-must-not-be-named (Voldermort).

Located in Lavenham, which boasts 300 protected heritage properties and appeared as Godric's Hollow in the Harry Potter films, fans can sleep in one of the property's two four-poster en-suite bedrooms.

Spice up your life

No one who watched Spice World: The Movie would be able to forget the iconic Union Jack tour bus where the Spice Girls spent much of their time.

However, while the film showed the bus to be a giant Mary-Poppins bag style mansion, the real deal is a more modest one bedroom, one bathroom affair located on the Isle of Wight.

The bus is priced at just under £195 per night, and the advert reads: "This is the actual and original Spice Bus that fans will know and love from the movie Spice World – but with an interior makeover.

"Working with some incredible designers, we have turned it into accommodation, so that you can stay the night and live out every fan’s wildest dream."

Revamp your vacation

Twilight fans rejoice – Bella Swan's 1930s family home, situated in St. Helens, 30 miles from Portland, Oregon, can now be explored – though it's booked up for the foreseeable future.

The house features many of the same features from the film, including the vintage green kitchen.

However, if you want to sleep in Kristen Stewart's character Bella's actual bedding, you might be disappointed.

The property rental ad (somewhat bizarrely) reads: "Bella’s screen accurate bedding has been retired and can now be viewed as part of the closet display.

"We are no longer able to offer this comforter for guest use due to its fragility.

"However, we are providing bedding that still matches the aesthetic of Bella’s bedroom as portrayed in the movies."

Killer location

BBC drama Killing Eve is known for its incredible fashion and glamorous filming locations, and now fans can get a taste of main character Villanelle's jet-setting lifestyle.

Season three saw Villanelle, played by Jodie Comer, living in an apartment in Barcelona and it’s now available to rent on Airbnb.

The two-bed Art Nouveau flat is described as an "architectural experience in the Modernista Barcelona of 1906" and costs around £250 a night.

Plenty of killer deals for film and TV fans alike…
