Gemma Collins reveals boyfriend Rami Hawash is taking her to Bethlehem over Christmas
Gemma Collins has revealed that her boyfriend Rami Hawash is whisking her away to the Biblical city of Bethlehem over Christmas.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star, 40, who recently spent the night with celebrity duo Jedward after a big night out in Dublin, Ireland, revealed exclusively to OK! that she will be spending New Year's Eve in Israel with her 45 year old boyfriend Rami.
Gemma, who rekindled her romance with Rami in the summer after they first dated in 2011, described how she will be hosting Christmas for her family at her £1.35million home in Essex but will be ringing in 2022 with her beau Rami by her side in Israel.
Speaking to OK!, Gemma said: "I really spoil the family on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and the day after and then Rami is taking me to Israel and then he is going to take me to Bethlehem for Christmas. Madonna has been there and now it is time.
"We were going to go in the summer but there were problems with flights and stuff so if everything is good regarding the Covid situation I'm off to Bethlehem baby."
"I will be [with] family and then New Year, me and Ram will be in Israel. Madonna loved it there and we are going to go to Tel Aviv – it's going to be amazing."
Gemma, whose dad Alan, 73, fought for his life in hospital after he tested positive for coronavirus shortly before Christmas in 2020, added: "I am doing the Christmas at home because last year my dad sadly nearly passed away with Covid so it was a really terrible time like we just did not celebrate Christmas so, this year, mum and dad are coming to me."
Meanwhile Gemma, who is collaborating with Amazon Handmade for Christmas, revealed that she is a huge fan of 'personalised items' which mean more to her than 'something big'.
She added: "The campaign has been amazing so basically the reason I loved Amazon Handmade was because it's been perfect for me because the products have all been hand-crafted and individual items that you can't get anywhere else.
"Plus, for me, so many businesses have been affected by Covid such as small, family-run and independent businesses."
She continued: "It is Christmas every day for me and what I mean by that I am happy and I don't need anything so for me when people ask to buy me stuff I prefer personalised items. I don't need something big – it is the personal touches that mean something to me."
In April of this year it was revealed that Gemma and Rami had been dating in private for six months.
Recently, she took to Instagram and shared a rare glimpse into her family life with partner Rami as she sweetly said being a stepmother is "so rewarding".
Gemma said she was so grateful to have three year old stepson Tristan, as well as being an aunty to her two nephews Hayden and Kane.
The reality star penned: "No feeling like it my little prince being a step mummy is so rewarding love is free and so rewarding nothing can put a price on this."
