Five huge clues that reveal The Masked Singer's Traffic Cone is an ITV megastar who we see every day
MASKED Singer fans are convinced Traffic Cone is The Chase host Bradley Walsh after a string of cracking clues.
In fact, there are now at least five reasons to suspect it really is the 61-year-old actor, host and – yes – singer…
1. Reference to Konnichiwa
A briefly-glimpsed sign in tonight episode as the Traffic Cone danced past featured the word Konnichiwa.
It read: "Traffic Kon'nichiwa. Now available in 3D, 2D & 1D" with the cone in a yellow and black striped top.
Bradley's album made headlines by outselling the Mercury Prize winning release from Skepta. Which just so happened to be called Konnichiwa.
There was also a possible clue on the shirt – as one fan pointed out tweeting: "Wearing a yellow and black tshirt like a bee. Bradley used to play for Brentford."
2. Gary Barlow song
Tonight, the Traffic Cone performed Back For Good, the Take That song written by Gary Barlow.
Bradley has sung alongside the 51-year-old legend, singing alongside him on the singer's lockdown Crooner Sessions last year.
3. Small traffic cone
Elsewhere in tonight's clue package, a small traffic cone was seen sitting in a parked car.
The mini-me could be a subtle reference to Breaking Dad, the travel show that Bradley does with his son Barney.
The clue package shows cars all lined up in front of roadworks – just what the pair have to contend with on their road trips together.
4. Wimbledon reference
The major clue "I got smashed at Wimbledon" could refer to the TV star's stint playing at Wimbledon FC.
Fans of The Chase will know about his stint at the club after he came face to face with one of his old physios.
A contestant called Caroline said the host used to taunt her when he was a footballer, leaving him gasping: "I did?"

5. The Chase
There have been several oblique references to The Chase, the daily teatime quiz show Bradley presents.
First the Traffic Cone mentioned being chased, then tonight he spoke about "a menace" – a hint at one of the show's quizzers.
Darragh Ennis is known on the show as The Menace.
