How to stop your tights laddering – it’s so easy and doesn’t cost you a penny
PICTURE the scene.
You've spent an hour choosing the perfect outfit, you're almost completely dressed, and as you put on your final item – your tights – you pull a massive ladder in them.
But one woman has come up with a genius hack to make tights stronger and help prevent ladders.
Lindsey took to TikTok to share the hack, which she tried out on some pink and purple tights she'd just bought.
"I just got these tights in and I’m going to try this trick to make them last longer," she said in the video.
"Before you wear them for the first time, what you’re going to do is you’re going to dip them in some water."
Once they're soaked with water, put them in a plastic bag and put them in the freezer for at least 24 hours.
"It strengthens the fibres and helps to keep it from getting holes in them," she added.
