HUGO LLORIS walked Dele Alli over to Tottenham fans for a proper send-off in touching scenes last night.
That’s after Spurs spanked Alli’s new side Everton 5-0 in north London.

The midfielder was unceremoniously booted out of the capital by Antonio Conte in January.
But Lloris ensured Alli was given the farewell he deserved by embracing the 25-year-old before walking him over to applauding Tottenham fans.
Alli looked visibly moved as he basked in the limelight.
And Spurs supporters were delighted to bid him farewell in the right way, with Lloris also praised.
One said: “Lloris, what a leader.”
Another beamed: “This is why Lloris wears the armband.”

One wrote: “Fans could not begrudge Alli wanting to play more.”

However, Alli’s immediate attention will now be on helping Everton escape their tricky relegation battle following last night’s thrashing.
Having tumbled down the pecking order under Spurs bosses Jose Mourinho and Nuno Espirito Santo, Alli was shown the door by Conte on deadline day with an initial FREE transfer to Goodison Park.
It brought an end to a seven-year love affair with Tottenham, who Alli joined from MK Dons in 2015.
The playmaker netted 67 goals in 269 games while becoming a regular starter for England.
And Alli also played a key role in their run to the 2019 Champions League final under cheerleader Mauricio Pochettino.
However, things changed when Mourinho took over in November 2019, with Alli regularly finding himself on the bench and eventually out of Gareth Southgate’s England plans.
Nuno and Conte were also left unconvinced by Alli, who scored just one league goal in his final 18 months.

And he is now hoping for better fortunes at Everton under Frank Lampard, who hailed the deadline day capture.
However, all five of Alli’s Toffees appearances have come from the bench so far.
And despite being at a new club, he may now face a fresh battle to impose himself on the starting XI – despite eventually costing Everton up to £30million.
