Graeme Souness in scathing attack on Man Utd flops as he reveals how many would make it into Liverpool XI after 4-0 loss
MANCHESTER UNITED'S fall from grace was "exposed" during their 4-0 thumping at Liverpool last night, claims Graeme Souness.
Ralf Rangnick's side were battered by their bitter rivals at Anfield, in a blow to their top four hopes.
United fell behind in the opening five minutes when Luis Diaz swept home Mo Salah's centre.
And things swiftly went from bad to worse – with Salah bagging two himself and Sadio Mane also getting on the scoresheet.
The Red Devils were slaughtered by a number of their former players, with the likes of Roy Keane, Gary Neville and Paul Scholes all irate over the awful display.
Liverpool legend Souness also stuck the boot in, insisting that not a single United player would get into the Reds' starting XI.

Appearing on Sky Sports, the 68-year-old said: "If you were to pick a (combined) strongest eleven I wouldn't pick a Man United player in that eleven.
"You just cannot put a United player in that team and it shows how far off they are.
"Man United are a truly enormous club on the world stage, and how far they've dropped has been exposed again."
Souness then put the bulk of responsibility onto the players' shoulders.

He added: "No one holds up a mirror and asks if they're part of the problem. Managers come and go these boys get the manager sacked for fun.
"Right now that group have taken United to where they are.
"Man United are a magnificent, one of the greatest football clubs in the world for what they've achieved, the disasters they've been through…
"They should not be struggling with a group of players like that it's not acceptable."
When Souness suggested that the Glazers aren't to blame, however, Neville pushed back.
He said: "Graeme seriously.
"No owners of any good business in the world where the core activities of the business is failing and the cash reserves are being drained over the last three years through Covid, can you continue to take money out of a business.
"No shareholders, directors and owners of a good business, when the business is failing at it's core activity, the cash reserves are being drained, there is investment required in hundreds of millions invested into the stadium and training ground and continue to take money out of the business. They can't do it.

"Fundamentally the club is broken on and off the pitch. The stadium is falling apart, the training ground is falling back to second rate compared to other grounds.
