I had a sunbed to top up my tan – I’m still suffering three weeks later and need others to know how horrifying it can be
A WOMAN is encouraging others to stop using sunbeds after she was left with a severe rash all over her body.
The sunbed user shared a short video to TikTok where she warns: "Your sign to never get a sunbed."
Been three weeks and spreads more every day."
In the shocking clip, she can be seen covered head to toe in a red, bumpy rash.
"It’s so itchy and can’t stop itching," she explains. "I’m on steroid tablets atm which is calming down the redness it doesn’t look as angry."
And many social media users were left horrified by the social media post.

A second penned: "Was lit going to one today but this has put me off hope you get better."

The TikTok user responded: "This come on randomly out of no where, honestly not worth it!!! It’s not just how it looks it’s so painful."
Another who experienced a similar reaction to a sunbed recalled: "Took me over a year for mine to disappear and back to normal, was nothing more painful."

"Are you sure this isn’t guttate psoriasis?" commented one. "Mine looks exactly like this and the doctors had no idea what it was until now."
A second similarly penned: "After I got sunburnt it triggered guttate psoriasis that looked similar to this."
