Denise Van Outen announces whos replacing ex fiancé on Celebrity Gogglebox

Denise van Outen has revealed who will be joining her on the sofa as she starts filming for Celebrity Gogglebox.

The West End star, 47, was previously joined by her ex-boyfriend Eddie Boxhall, 49. However, she gave him the boot following a whirlwind of cheating speculations.

The couple split at the beginning of the year, leaving Denise without a co-star for the Channel 4 show.

On Tuesday (May 23) The Big Breakfast announced her best pal Duncan James from the noughties boy band Blue would step in.

Hearthrob Duncan, 44, confirmed his appearance on Instagram as he wrote: "Can't wait to start filming @c4gogglebox with my bestie @vanouten_denise."

Denise confirmed the news by reposting his story and adding a love heart.

It comes after she ended her relationship with ex-fiance trader Eddie after being together for seven years.

Denise found out that Eddie had sent more than 20 messages and photos from his iPad to other women behind her back.

After Denise discovered Eddie's antics, she threw him out and said that she no longer wanted him in her life.

Eddie spoke about the end of the relationship in an interview with The Sun and acknowledged that he made a "mistake" by sending sexual texts to someone else and he said he is "deeply sorry" and feels "ashamed".

Denise and Eddie started dating back in 2014 and soon went on to become a power couple, appearing on Gogglebox a number of times.

The loved-up pair fast became a huge hit with viewers of the Channel 4 reality programme.

It was earlier this year on January 7, 2022, that the news of the couple's split broke, with Denise confirming the break up on social media.

The TV personality shared a sombre black and white snap of herself walking her dogs on the beach.

In her caption, Denise penned: "It saddens me to confirm that we are no longer a couple. I had to make the difficult decision not to continue in our relationship.

"I will always treasure the good times we spent together and the memories made.
