How Man Utd could line up with late transfer spending spree including £80m Antony deal and Aubameyang up front | The Sun
MANCHESTER UNITED look set for a late transfer spending spree ahead of Thursday's deadline day.
So far United have signed Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, Tyrell Malacia and Christian Eriksen but it seems there's more to come.
The Red Devils are weighing up a late swoop for Ajax star Antony as well as Barcelona aces Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Sergino Dest.
The Manchester giants are looking to hijack Chelsea's bid to sign Aubameyang as they are also looking for extra firepower up front.
Furthermore, United are now increasingly confident that an £84million deal will be completed for Antony before deadline day.
And Erik ten Hag's side is keeping tabs on Dest as the Dutch tactician needs reinforcement at right-back with Diogo Dalot struggling and Aaron Wan-Bissaka falling out of favour.

However, much will depend on whether Cristiano Ronaldo stays at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo has expressed his desire to leave but there has been a lack of suitors keen to sign him.
But if United succeed in their bid for Antony, Aubameyang and Dest then Ten Hag could have a very impressive line-up at his disposal.
David de Gea would start in goal with Dest at right-back and Malacia on the other side, while Raphael Varane and Martinez would team up at centre-back.

Casemiro could link up with Bruno Fernandes and Eriksen in midfield.
