Tommy Fury mum: Who is Love Island’s Tommy’s mum Chantal?

Love Island 2019 is coming to an end which means it’s time for the families to enter the famous ITV2 villa to surprise the contestants. This year, Tommy Fury will be reunited with his mum Chantal and one of his brothers, although it won’t be Tyson Fury. Tommy’s mum will finally get to meet his girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague for the very first time as well in tonight’s episode (July 28) and, if the Love Island first look is anything to go by, it looks like they’ll hit it off. Here’s what we know about Tommy Fury’s mum ahead of her Love Island appearance.

Who is Tommy Fury’s mum Chantal?

Love Island fans will catch their first glimpse at Tommy Fury’s mum in the second to last episode of the series.

Tommy’s mum Chantal tends to stay relatively out of the limelight so her appearance on ITV2 is a rarity.

Nonetheless, it clearly means a lot to son Tommy as he reveals he’s a “mummy’s boy” in tonight’s episode.

WHAT IS TOMMY FURY’S NET WORTH?

Chantal enters the villa with one of Tommy’s brothers, not his and Tyson’s father John as some fans expected.

Tommy says in the Beach Hut: “To see them walk through the door, it was one of the best feelings I’ve had in my entire life.

“I can’t put into words how happy I am to see both of them.”

During their catch-up, Chantal heartwarmingly tells her son: “I’m very proud of you.”

The Love Island star’s brother adds: “You’ve smashed it, lad.”

HOW ARE TOMMY AND TYSON FURY REALLY RELATED?

While very little is known publicly about Tommy’s mum, the Love Island star does reveal a surprising fact about her in tonight’s episode.

“That woman hasn’t got on a plane in 16 years!” Tommy tells his fellow Islanders.

When his mum and brother meet Molly-Mae’s mum and sister, the families instantly hit it off.

Molly-Mae’s mum compliments Chantal on Tommy’s upbringing but does have one slight gripe about the boxer.

“You’ve brought this lad up well,” Molly-Mae’s mum begins.

“But you’ve not taught him how to cook very well!”

Chantal then admits: “I enjoy doing it for him! But in all honesty, I should’ve taught him some life skills.”

CAN LOVE ISLAND STARS SMOKE IN THE VILLA?

Elsewhere in the villa, Ovie Soko is reunited with his brother and cousin.

India Reynolds’ mum and sister also enter the villa to get to know Ovie.

Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard’s parents make an entrance as well to reunite with their children.

Belle Hassan’s famous dad Tamer Hassan gets to come face-to-face with Anton Danyluk for the first time while Anton’s mum Sherrie-Ann also enters.

Finally, Greg O’Shea’s parents meet with Amber Gill’s as they chat at the fire pit.

Love Island 2019 concludes on Monday at 9pm on ITV2.
