Stacey Solomon ‘emotional’ as she shares sweet snap of her eldest son with newborn daughter Belle
Stacey Solomon shared a precious picture of her newborn daughter Belle on social media, who was cuddling up to her eldest brother, Zachary.
After keeping her fifth pregnancy a secret for some time, hiding the baby bump beneath big jumpers, Stacey revealed that she was pregnant in December and gave birth to little Belle earlier this month.
The Loose Women panellist has since shared pictures of the newborn with her Instagram followers and also revealed that chocolate and icy water are the only things getting her through the long nights.
On Wednesday, Stacey, who earlier described the birth as “nice”, took to Instagram to share another picture of the baby.
Belle, who is Stacey’s fifth child and her third with husband Joe Swash, could be seen lying on her big brother’s chest as he looked at the camera and flashed a smile.
The former I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here winner is already mum to Rex, three, and one year old Rose with Joe and also has sons Zachary, 14, from her relationship with Dean Cox.
Stacey also has Leighton, 10, with her ex Aaron Barham, while Joe has a son, 15 year old Harry, with ex-girlfriend Emma Sophocleous.
Beneath the picture of her kids, she captioned the post: “So emotional tonight. Happy emotional, but honestly, a slice of toast could set me off Hope you're all ok. Lots of love from me, Belle and Zachary keeping me company on tonight's night feed.”
This comes after Stacey shared a touching montage of her daughter Rose meeting her baby sister for the first time, which sparked massive reactions from fans who took to the comments and shared their love.
The video showed Rose reaching out for her baby sister, who was wearing an identical cream onesie with blue embroidered flowers on.
The little tot then rested her head on Belle’s while smiling as Stacey supported the newborn’s head.
In the caption, she explained: "When Rose met Belle. More than my heart could have ever imagined. My whole heart aches for them and the adventures that are to come."
She then posted a poignant poem that read: "Sister. She is your mirror, shining back at you with a world of possibilities. She is your witness, who sees you at your worst and best, and loves you anyway.
"She is your partner in crime, your midnight companion, someone who knows when you are smiling, even in the dark. – Barbara Alpert When sisters stand shoulder to shoulder, who stands a chance against them? – Pam Brown."
Reacting to the video, Joe, 41, wrote: “My girls… never did I think I’d get this lucky.”
“CUTENESS OVERLOAD,” wrote X Factor alumni Jake Quickenden as Stacey replied to the influx of love with, “Your comments are making me cry. These hormones I tell you! Seeing all of the sister comments to each other is EVERYTHING. Love you all!"
