Chinese astrology is represented by 12 animals, all with different characteristics and personality traits. What makes Dragon, Rat and Ox more successful than the other nine signs?
Dragon people are born in one of the following years: 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012 or 2024, and it is the most successful of all 12 zodiac signs.
Dragon is the most “prominent” and “exotic” of all 12 Chinese zodiac signs, as well as being an “innate leader”, astrologer Burcu Erim Dural told Romper.
“If intelligence, hard work, and leadership are desired, parents can ask for their children to be born in the year, month, or day of the Dragon.”
Dragon is an idealist, perfectionist, and can be pretty aggressive when the situation calls for it.
Unsurprisingly, Dragon makes a great CEO or even politician, someone powerful who overseas the work of others.
Because they are “charismatic” they are able to bring the best out of the people around them, and others love being in their company.
However, their combative personality must not be underestimated. This sign is prepared to do a lot to get to the top.
Next up is Rat, who is born in 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008 or 2020.

This sign is very successful and can achieve whatever they set their mind to due to their overwhelming “charm”.
Rat is extremely “extroverted” and knows how people work, often using this to their advantage.
Their inability to sits still also means they get lots done and rarely waste time lazing around.
Rat is a “perfectionist”, so never does things by halves, another reason why they are so successful in life and work.
This sign’s particular strength lie in maths, music, planning, management, and the arts, claimed Dural.
The third Chinese zodiac sign most destined for success is the Ox, born in one of the following years: 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009 or 2021.
Ox is known for their “hardworking” nature, and they will never shy away from a job, even when it’s tricky.
Patience is a virtue and one this sign has in spades. They won’t give up at the first hurdle, prepared to see their tasks through.
Ox is also characteristically “loyal”, so they will stick by their friends and colleagues, taking them to the top with them.
They are also “trustworthy” so other people confide in them, which means they have great success in their interpersonal relationships.
Unlike Dragon, Ox doesn’t often find themselves in positions of power but makes a great leader when given the opportunity.
