Coronation Street spoiler for June 5, 2023: court trial ends with shock verdict | The Sun
DAISY Midgeley and Ryan Connor bravely faced Justin Rutherford in court last week during a tense trial.
Tonight in Coronation Street, the pair find out if the troubled character played by Andrew Still will be allowed to roam free again.
Justin terrorised and stalked Daisy (played by Charlotte Jordan) for weeks on end and the ordeal culminated into him attempting to get revenge on her for rejecting him by throwing acid at her.
However, he had not expected for Ryan (Ryan Prescott) to stand in his way and take the full force of his attack, resulting in him sustaining life-changing injuries from the ordeal.
In court, Justin denied any wrongdoing and his defence suggested that the attack could have been staged by Ryan and Daisy all along.
To top it all off, the defence team also theorised that Ryan and Daisy were in love with one another.

During tonight's trip to the ITV cobbles, it appears that Daisy's fiancé Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) is unable to get the thought of her with Ryan out of his mind.
It all begins as they leave for court, when Daniel clocks an awkward look between Daisy and Ryan.
Daisy then receives a text to "Crystal" in which Ryan tells her how he went to see Daisy and it was a huge mistake.
Little does Ryan know that Crystal is actually Daisy who decided to catfish him in an attempt to lift his spirits up.
