My dull shed desperately needed a makeover so I transformed it with cheap buys from B&M – now looks like a beach hut | The Sun

A DIY fanatic has revealed how she transformed her boring white shed with affordable finds from B&M.

The warmer weather is the perfect time for Brits to work on their gardens – and one of those giving their outdoor space a glow-up was TikTok use Gwen James.

The young social media manager, from Cardiff, has been on a mission to get her garden ''summer ready'' and recently shared a jaw-dropping shed transformation.

For this, the bargain lover headed to her local B&M and nabbed a couple of cheap buys, including paint.

These, she demonstrated in her video, included a massive can of Beach Blue paint, a container of light cream paint for wood and some spray paint in vibrant yellow that cost her £6.99.

After doing all the necessary shopping, Gwen dashed back home and set off to work on the full shed.

First, the craft fanatic started by grabbing the spray paint and using it to transform the top section of the roofed structure.

Then, one by one, she painted the horizontal wood in blue and white, leaving the door white.

Sharing the glow-up on TikTok, Gwen said: ''its gunna need another coat of paint but happy with how its looking [sic].

''It's giving beach hut,'' she was pleased with the outcome.
