The 8 ways you can use cola as a magic cleaning product – it’ll get chewing gum out of hair in a flash for starters | The Sun
MOST of us have a cupboard that's stacked to the brim with cleaning products.
But for certain things, we should be turning to our fridge rather than that cupboard, according to one person, who shared the eight secret ways cola can be used as a magic cleaning product.
In the video on TikTok, he kicked off by citing cola as a brilliant way to remove chewing gum from hair without having to resort to hacking off the locks.
"If you get gum in your hair, put the hair in a bowl and pour cola over it," he said, showing a woman leaning over with her hair in the bowl.
"The gum will come off easily."
Secondly, combining cola with laundry detergent can help eliminate black mould, he said, as he sprayed it onto the area affected.

"Rinse it clean with water and it can last for another 10 years," he concluded.
People in the comments section were quick to admit they didn't know the cleaning power of cola.
"Wish I knew about the bubblegum and hair one," one wrote.
"Things would have been so different for my kids!"
"Very interesting," another added.
And a third commented: "Nice one!"
But others insisted the video is just another reason we shouldn't drink cola.
