Love Island feud as friendships end days after final as stars slam two-faced co-star

Just days since Love Island came to it’s dramatic conclusion, another feud appears to have emerged among the stars as both Whitney Adebayo and Mitchel Taylor both hit out at one of their fellow Islanders.

Just three days on since the winner was officially crowned, Love Island runner up Whitney didn’t hold back as she took part in an Instagram Live Q&A session which saw her brutally call out her co-star Kady McDermott.

Seated alongside her villa paramour Lochan Nowack, Whitney made a comment that alluded to returning villa star Kady’s recent antics, after she had appeared on a number of podcasts since her elimination.

Kady previously appeared on the show during series two, but made her villa return in 2023 where once again she failed to find love.

Since leaving the villa, Kady has embarked on a number of podcasts where she shared her unfiltered opinions about her co-stars, including Whitney’s villa bestie Scott Van Der Sluis – someone Kady ultimately branded as “rude.”

Up until her Q&A session, Whitney had remained notably tight lipped about Kady’s behaviour, but appeared to hint at a brewing feud with the star when a glimpse at her phone screen revealed she was on a FaceTime call with Scott.

She said: "Kady, this is the reason why your name be up, like, girl," before frowning and releasing a nervous laugh.

Mitchel Taylor also added fuel to the fire when he branded Kady “two faced” following his departure from the show. Commenting on Whitney’s post, Mitchel wrote: "Kady more two faced than me stillll.”

Scott meanwhile also hit out at Kady, after he branded her a “game-player” during his interview with On Demand Entertainment.

For her part in the drama however, Kady remains remarkably unfazed by the negativity, after previously admitting she didn’t get along with several Islanders, including Molly Marsh in particular.

Kady told the Kiss Fresh podcast: "So basically, Molly off-camera, I know she would talk to girls in the set-up chats, but off-camera, lunch and dinner, and down days, she wouldn't talk to any of the girls.

"She'd completely segregate herself. She'd either be on her own or be with Zach. But then on the down days, you couldn't be with the boys, you had to be separated.”

For that reason Kady confirmed she wouldn’t be staying in touch with the star after leaving the villa.
