Sir Alex Ferguson has shared his verdict on Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United squad.
The legendary manager returned to Old Trafford to watch the club’s opening Premier League fixture, with Raphael Varane securing a 1-0 victory late on.
Ahead of kick-off, Sir Alex said Ten Hag has “done a fantastic job” at Man United over the last year.
“He’s grabbed it, he’s got his own players in – I think that was important,” the former Red Devils boss said, adding that Ten Hag has “a really good side”.
