Johannes Radebe gasps putting me on the spot over Strictly partner probe
Johannes Radebe Speaking About Strictly On The One Show
Johannes Radebe was left speechless when The One Show’s Alex Jones tried to find out who his partner was for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
When the interview about his new book drew to a close, the conversation soon turned to the BBC competition.
Cutting straight to the chase, Alex asked: “Are you dancing with Angela Rippon?”
Bursting into an awkward laughter, Johannes was clearly caught off guard by her direct answer.
He replied: “That is putting me on the spot Alex!”

However, he remained tight-lipped on who fans can expect to see him dancing with as he didn’t confirm or deny her question.
Although he did hint there are big things to come this season as he told the two hosts: “You guys are in for a treat.
“We have really turned up, it’s going to be amazing.”
Last year, Johannes was partnered with comedian Ellie Taylor, although he was in a same-sex partnership in 2021 with John Whaite.

As Johannes has danced with a male and female contestant in the past, he may be dancing in a same-sex partnership this year.
Fans are excited to watch Angela take to the dancefloor as she’ll be the oldest contestant to compete at the age of 78.
Ahead of her debut, she said: “Having been a fan of Strictly since day one, and as a former presenter of Come Dancing, this will be quite an adventure for me.
“A scary one, considering I’m about to be 79. But I’m really looking forward to the challenge, and perhaps being able to learn to dance the Argentinian Tango!!”
Along with Angela taking part, viewers will see Adam Thomas, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Eddie Kadi, Angela Scanlon and Zara McDermott all try their best to win the infamous Glitterball.
Amanda Abbington, radio host Nikita Kanda, Coronation Street’s Ellie Leach, Paralympic Champion Jody Cundy, EastEnders’ Bobby Brazier and Nigel Harman, tennis player Annabel Croft and actor Les Dennis are all also competing.
This week, the official Strictly Come Dancing Instagram released a first-look clip at the 15 stars competing and showing off their best dance moves.
From Angela’s impressive Charleston, Adam Thomas’ robot and Bobby Brazier taking to the floor for his caterpillar skills, fans have been given a glimpse at what they can expect to see.
