Jennifer Lopez Just Shared A Rare No-Makeup Photo, And I Can't Get Over Her Glow
- Jennifer Lopez, 50, just posted a rare no-makeup photo on Instagram.
- The Hustlers star credits her glowing skin to good genes and lots of SPF.
- She also makes sure to wash her face after every single workout.
Jennifer Lopez regularly posts pics of herself on Instagram all glammed out, because, you know, she’s J.Lo. So, it’s kind of rare that the 50-year-0ld Hustlers star just shared a photo of herself with no makeup on.
The post was in response to receiving the Best Supporting Actress award from the LA Film Critics Association for her role as Ramona in the 2019 film (yaasss, J.Lo!!!). “Home sweet home,” J.Lo captioned a shot of herself with her twins Max and Emme. “Sitting here with my coconuts [J.Lo’s nickname for her children] and feeling so grateful. THANK YOU to the @lafilmcritics Association! I am humbled and honored. #Ramona #hustlersmovie #LAFCA.”
In the pic, J. Lo is cuddled up next to her kids, and she’s clearly makeup free. There are no false eyelashes, and her skin and lips are completely bare. But, of course, she looks totally amazing.

J. Lo told TODAY back in 2014 that a lot of her amazing skin has to do with good genes—womp womp. “My mom and my grandma had beautiful skin, so I was blessed with that. I’m fortunate in that way,” she said.
But that doesn’t mean she phones it in when it comes to skincare. Jennifer is big on washing her face at key times. “I always, always wash my face after a workout. That helps keep my pores clean and my skin feeling healthy,” she told Hello!. She’s also into wearing sunscreen to protect her skin. “I don’t wear a lot of makeup when not working and am a firm believer in SPF,” she told InStyle. “I try not to stay out in the sun too long.”
And, of course, she doesn’t skimp when it comes to beauty products. Her longtime makeup artist, Scott Barnes, told Popsugar that J.Lo loves La Mer moisturizing cream…which starts at $90 a jar. Hey, good genes can only get you so far…
