Jessica Simpson, 40, Stuns In New No-Makeup Instagram Selfie
- Jessica Simpson, 40, just shared a new no-makeup Instagram selfie with her dog.
- The Open Book author is a huge fan of Epicuren skin care products and eye cream.
- She also loves a cleanser that completely removes makeup without leaving residue.
History has shown that Jessica Simpson looks amazing all glammed up, but recently, she’s been working a more subdued, stripped-down look when it comes to makeup. And her latest Instagram post is proof of just that.
“Two blondes waiting for the sun to rise ☀️” the Open Book author, 40, wrote in the caption, alongside a photo of herself and her dog outside, chilling next to a few evergreen trees. It’s hard to miss the fact that the singer’s skin looks all kinds of stunning.
That wasn’t lost on people in the comments. “Beautiful,” one fan wrote. “Natural and gorgeous!” another said.

But with skin like that, can you blame her? Jessica doesn’t mess around with her skincare, and it shows.
What’s behind that look? Well, she’s a huge fan of Epicuren skin care products. Jessica wrote on her blog last year that she loves Epicuren Discovery Bio Peptide Serum, which she calls “gold” for her skin. “This serum plumps up the skin to make it look more youthful and corrects and prevents visible signs of aging,” she said in the post.
She also uses Epicuren’s Herbal Cleanser to clean her skin. “Unlike most cleansers, it completely removes my makeup without leaving any residue behind,” she told InStyle.
Jessica previously told POPSUGARthat she’s been an eye cream fanatic for years. “I’ve used eye cream since I got in the business, so I was about 17 years old,” she said. “I just like the way it makes me feel. And I don’t want crows feet.”
It doesn’t just show—it glows.
