Adele Says She "Definitely" Wants "a Couple More Kids"
Adele has big plans for the next couple years (her rescheduled residency in Vegas, for one!) and they include having more kids. The icon/living legend opened up to BBC’s Desert Island Discs saying, “I definitely would like a couple more kids. It would be wonderful. If not, I’ve got Angelo.” Note: Adele shares Angelo with her ex-husband Simon Konecki, who she parted ways with in April 2019.
This isn’t the first time Adele has spoken out about her plans to have more children. Back in February she told The Graham Norton Show that her Vegas residency would definitely be rescheduled this year because “I want a baby next year. I have plans next year. Imagine if I have to cancel because I am having a baby!”
She also added “I will be disappearing in terms of my music, but you might see a glimpse of me now and then and I won’t be in complete hiding. It takes me a while to recharge, and I would like to have more children—I only just feel like I’ve caught up with my sleep from nine years ago when I had my son.”
Adele’s boyfriend Rich Paul also opened up about having more kids to E! News recently, saying “You know, I have a daughter that’s a junior in college so I was a very young dad, but now, different age, different time in my life, different position in my life. I’m really looking forward to being an older dad. My kids never tell me I’m a cool dad. Their friends think I’m a cool dad, so I feel good about that. But my kids never really tell me, ‘Dad, you’re cool.’ They don’t show me that love like that, but I know it’s deep down inside.”
