Alice Cooper Shares Rendition Of Velvet Underground’s ‘Rock & Roll’
Alice Cooper has released a cover of the Velvet Underground‘s classic “Rock & Roll.”
Cooper’s rendition features Detroit band members Johnny “Bee” Badanjek, Steve Hunter, and Paul Randolph, with special guest Joe Bonamassa and Tommy Henriksen.
The cover was produced by Bob Ezrin, who has long worked with Cooper.
“Rock & Roll” originally appeared on Velvet Underground’s 1970 album Loaded. The song was written by the Velvets’ then-leader Lou Reed.
Meanwhile, Cooper is set to drop his 21st solo album, Detroit Stories, on February 26, 2021.
