Amanda Holden posts another cheeky photo after Phillip Schofield dig
Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden shared a cheeky snap as she posed with her rarely-seen mum Judith and daughter Lexi, as the trio enjoyed some time in the sun.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Amanda, 52, shared a short video clip of some "cigars" in a glass ashtray, to which she added the text: "These aren't real. They're cream."
She followed this with a photo of herself and her mum "smoking", as she wrote: "We don't smoke. [flexed bicep emoji] leecream Cigars."
And posting to her Instagram Grid, Amanda shared a snap of herself, her mum, and her daughter, which she captioned: "Such a gorgeous afternoon with my mummy and @lexi.hughes_official."
Her summery outing comes just one day after Amanda appeared to post a dig at Phillip Schofield, after he announced he would be immediately stepping down from This Morning.
Not long after Phil made his announcement, Amanda shared a rather pointed post on her Instagram page, as she posted a flexed bicep emoji on a black background.
She opted against captioning the post, leading many fans to believe it was directed at the former This Morning host, with one Instagram user commenting: "No Holden Back for sure – YES AMANDA"
While GB News presenter Dan Wooton commented: "[three flexed bicep emojis] indeed."
And a third added: "I know what that’s for”, while another said: “Funny as F**k!”.
Amanda and Phill first sparked falling out rumours after she claimed he blocked her from replacing Holly Willoughby on This Morning in 2018.
It was reported that Amanda was lined-up to replace Holly Willoughby when she joined Declan Donnelly in Australia to host I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in December 2018.
However, Phillip supposedly persuaded ITV bosses to hire Rochelle Humes instead, claiming that she is "easier to manage".
A source told The Sun at the time: “Phillip actively campaigned for Rochelle Humes to get the job despite Amanda being more experienced and having been told privately she’d got the gig.
“She [Amanda] feels Phil unfairly used his powers of persuasion. She was told he’d chosen Rochelle because she was easier to “manage” on air – and understandably that incensed her.”
An ITV spokesperson later insisted this was not the case as they said: "Presenter line ups on This Morning change regularly and final decisions on these line ups are made by producers and not the presenters.
"Phillip Schofield is a much loved broadcaster and part of the ITV family. He is a consummate professional and held in high regard at ITV. Amanda is also held in high regard as a judge on one of our biggest shows."
