Anne-Marie took to social media last night to give a shout out to some of her favourite female owned businesses and “spill the tea” on her latest track with Little Mix. She described Kiss My (Uh Oh), which was released this summer, as a “girl power anthem”.
The 30-year-old went into further details about the hit song, which is a track on her second studio album Therapy.
She said it was about walking away from someone who is toxic and not “giving you what you deserve”.
Anne-Marie made her comments in the second issue of Therapy Zine, an online magazine-inspired post to coincide with her album.
Alongside her most recent Instagram offering, she wrote: “The second #Therapy zine is here!!! This issue is all about GIRL POWER.
“Swipe for all the tea on #kissmyuhoh with @littlemix, my favourite female owned businesses and meet the amazing women on my team.”
Within the post, Anne-Marie appeared in video footage to talk directly to fans.
The songstress said of the track: “It’s all about walking away from someone who ain’t treating you well.
“Not giving you what you deserve. Not giving you the time.
“And just treating you as a booty call – which sometimes can be fun – but if you want more and they are not moving to that next stage with you, you got to walk away.(sic)
“Goodbye,” she added in view of her 8.6 million followers.
The Anne-Marie and Little Mix track reached number 10 in the UK charts and is one of the first songs the band have released following the departure of Jesy Nelson.
The remaining members of the group are Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall.

Meanwhile two of her former bandmates have become mothers.
Perrie gave birth to son Axel on August 21, her first child with boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
