Bill Gates Predicted A ‘Highly Infectious Virus’ Would Happen Five Years Ago
Bill Gates made a bold prediction during a speech five years ago.
While speaking at a Ted Talk in 2015, the 64-year-old business magnate spoke about the greatest risk that was coming and it wasn’t war.
“Today, the greatest risk of global catastrophe…it’s most likely to be a highly infectious virus, rather than a war — not missiles but microbes,” he shared, which alludes to the coronavirus pandemic.
Bill added that the virus is more likely to kill millions of people because of the lack of a system in place to stop an epidemic.
The now viral video clip was posted before it was announced that Bill had stepped down from the Microsoft board to focus on philanthropy.
If you missed it, current President Donald Trump spoke about coronavirus testing.
