Sharing his perfect view of the capital earlier this month, he wrote: “Sometimes Blue Sky is my best pick me up. Today is one of those days.
“Hope wherever u r , u r enjoying some blue too.”(sic)
Carol then responded, recalling an incident she had when she previously lived in the same area.
The TV presenter revealed she used to live opposite the comedian and was left convinced he once “pointed his telescope” in the direction of her penthouse.

She said: “Hope you had a great day my friend. Yr pic took me back to when I lived right there, on that noisy corner, high up in a stupidly big penthouse.
“Our clock was Big Ben, out of the window. Frank Skinner had another penthouse & I’m sure he pointed his telescope in our direction.”(sic)
She then finished off the post with a crying with laughter emoji to cement the true shock factor of the story.
Carol then revealed that she moved out of the city in a hunt for “more heart and laughter”, admitting she is not a “London person”.
The hilarious admission came days before the TV star stunned in a figure-hugging dress at a Cheltenham Festival 2020 event.
She headed to 16th-century hotel The Lygon Arms in Broadway to host the event with former jockey Jonjo O’Neill, 67.
Carol wowed onlookers as she posed for photographs in a slick checkered dress.
The outfit featured a peplum top and slim skirt at the bottom, perfectly showing off her figure.

Earlier this week, Carol proved she is every bit the professional as she was forced to present live Six Nations coverage, on BBC Radio Wales, from inside a lift, after getting stuck.
The star was hauled up with co-stars and a “random henchman” for 40 minutes before she was saved by a staff member.
During the show, Carol told listeners about the epic gaffe.
“We are actually stuck in a lift with a Frenchman, in the Angel Hotel,” she explained.

Rugby player Ian Gough pleaded: “So yeah if the manager of the Angel Hotel is listening to this can you help us?
“Get a tin opener or something. Because it’s only a small lift too.”
Carol then highlighted that her team may have “over-weighed” the lift causing the temporary breakdown.
After being saved by hotel staff, the presenter laughed off the moment on social media.
