Carol Vorderman put on an animated display while celebrating her Ascot wins on Saturday after getting lucky with her bets.
The Countdown star, 61, was seen punching her hand in the air after one of the races at the QIPCO British Champions Day – where she dressed in a stylish tartan ensemble.
Taking to Instagram later in the day she revealed she had made a gross total of £661 after placing just three bets.

For her day out with an equally as glamorous pal she wore a green and grey tartan dress which was cinched in at the waist with a black belt.
She completed her look with a matching hat and fascinator as she excitedly snapped pictures and enjoyed the day out.
Carol documented her wins on social media and she shared snaps off her winning tickets and total amount as well as a fun video with one of her pals.

She penned in the caption: ‘BOOM CHAMPIONS DAY! SECOND RACE @ascot. Three bets…. Came in 1,2,3. Go on Vorders…..two from the top and one from wherever you like.

She bet on horses Creative Force, Kinross and Run To Freedom each way to total her final amount.

It came after Carol candidly discussed her ‘many special friends’ as she dished out dating advice and the reasons why she dates multiple men.
The star revealed that one of her close male friends is an astronaut who ‘calls her from the space station,’ and she has been dating two of the men for several years – adding that she ‘feels free’ since choosing not to remarry.
Carol has never revealed the identities of the men.
Speaking to Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond on This Morning to answer a callers burning question during the advice segment.

Phoning into the show, a 52-year-old viewer asked both Carol and Gyles Brandreth what age group he should ‘pitch himself to’ when looking for ladies to date.
The star explained: ‘I live my life in chapters, and you said and this chapter since I was about 50. So for the last decade or so, I’ve lived a life which is much freer.
‘I’ve never felt freer. So I have ignored the looking for one person and I have a number of what I’ve called “special friends”.

She continued: ‘I don’t really want to marry again. I don’t really want to live with a man again. Have to look after him all the time. But this is a time to break this nonsense taboo, which is a person should only be looking for one other person that satisfies everything in their life. That’s hell.’
Adding of her ‘special friends’ Carol explained: ‘They don’t know each other, but they know about it. It’s a very honest relationship.
‘One of them has gone on for many more years than my marriage. Yeah, it’s over 10 years. Another is seven. He’s an astronaut. He rang me from the space station.’
