Chase Rice Declares Pandemic Over, Says Those That Disagree Should Stay Home
Chase Rice says that the COVID-19 pandemic is over, and it is better for those who disagree with his theory to stay at home.
“It’s something that you start losing hope towards the end of last year because, in the beginning of last year, it’s like, ‘Eh, we’ll be back in no time.’ And that changes pretty [quickly] to, ‘Man, I don’t know if this is ever gonna get back to normal,'” the country music singer-songwriter said in a new interview with Audacy.
“This thing’s over. If you don’t think so, move on. It’s over,” he added.
“We’re going back to normal life, and if you don’t want to do that, stay home. We’re partying, country music’s back, music’s back. Live events are back and [I] couldn’t be happier,” the “Lonely if You Are” singer said in the interview aired on Monday.
Dierks Bentley was forced to cancel his Seven Peaks Music Festival in Colorado last month, while Garth Brooks is reviewing whether to proceed with his stadium tour due to the resurgence of COVID-19 in the U.S., driven by the Delta variant.
