Chris Brown, Drake Earn First No. 1s On Adult R&B Chart With ‘No Guidance’
Chris Brown and Drake‘s “No Guidance” advanced 2-1 on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs airplay chart dated January 18, giving the two singers their first No. 1 on the list.
According to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, the song ascended one spot to the No. 1 slot on the list, logging a 10% gain in plays in the streaming week ended January 12.
The song, produced by J. Louis, Vinylz, Teddy Walton and Canadian producer Noah James Shebib, more popularly known as 40, was released in early June 2019. The song debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving Brown his 15th entry on the top 10 list and Drake, his 34th top 10 on the chart. The song then went on to peak at No. 5, earning Brown his first top five since “Forever” in 2008.
